Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Asena has two forms that she switches between

• Roman: In this form, Asena has long black hair, reddish eyes, and an average physique.
• Turkish: In this form, Asena's hair turns white and her eyes become more golden.

Identifying Characteristics

Asena, being the wolf mother of many civilizations, has wolf-like features. This mainly includes a pair of wolf ears on her head instead of human ears and a tail.

Special abilities

Asena's primary strength is her great defensive abilities. In combat, she manifests large spectral wolf-like gauntlets that cover most of her arms. These gauntlets are used more like shields due to their sheer size, but can allow her to fight with decent finesse.
Asena's Noble Phantasms are Shield of Ancilia-Descending Shields of Heaven and Anne Kalbi. Shield of Ancilia is a major defensive Noble Phantasm that causes a massive spectral shield to descend from the heavens. As the shield falls and damages anything it lands on, 11 other shields also fall down with one of them attaching itself onto an ally of her choosing. Among the 11 shields, one these shields is the real shield that is granting defensive power to the others. As long as the real shield exists, the ally with the shield is nigh-invincible. Asena can switch the position of the real shield among the others, further extending the defensive buff and confusing the enemies even more.
Anne Kalbi is Asena's second Noble Phantasm. This ability has both an offensive and defensive ability. The offensive ability replicates Asena's power of helping her children melt an entire mountain side in order to allow them to escape. This comes in the form of a massive blast of radiant fire from her shield-like gauntlets. The defensive power simply fully heals and rejuvenates an ally of her choosing.
Besides her Noble Phatansms, her different forms allow her to switch between a more mobile or more solid type of defense. Her Roman form makes her extremely hard to damage at the cost of slowing her down while her Turkish form makes her really hard to hit at the cost of having take normal amounts of damage.

• Roman: Her Roman form consists of a simple red button-up shirt and a black skirt that goes down to her knees.
• Turkish: Her Turkish form consists of a black leather jacket and matching slacks

In combat, she wears a set of scale armor.

Personal history

The Gatekeeper of Heaven let go of her abilities so that she could watch over the Eastern Battles between the early nomads and the Chinese. Only one little kid survived at the war's end with the Nomads defeated. Her job was only to be a watcher, but she went out of her way to help this kid. She raised him to an adult until he died of sickness. But before that, they were in love which left Asena pregnant. One of those babies ends up being the leader of these New Nomads, who become the leader of the Turkic Nomads. She is the mother of people like Oghuz Khagan. After that, she left the Turks on their own, continuing to be a watcher. She halts the job again as she entirely becomes their protector once they are stuck in the Ergenekon valley and Mountains for 4 centuries. She came to their help and melted the entire mountain with a blacksmith in the group. Later she showed them their new homes, and they started conquering the middle east thanks to her. She also started coronating the proceeding leaders of Turkic nations. But at some point, she leaves the Turks as she thinks she is giving those humans advantage. As a heavenly being, she needs to be just. To see the other countries, she goes on a voyage in the world, traveling the now lands of Rome. On a day when she is in the wild and drinking water from a lake, she saves two boys left in the lake to die. These twins were Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome. She becomes their mother figure as the twins see her as their mother. Asena left them in the country as they were founding Rome. After these, she also creates multiple countries and nations with her children; one such is Genghis Khan, the great leader of the Mongols. At some point, she stopped counting the nations she had created. One day most things go wrong as Remus gets killed by his brother, and some of her children commit terrible crimes. Also, the Romans name the word prostitute after her. Asena witnessing the horrors of his sons, nearly became a beast. She returned to the heavens gates where her original body lived as a guard. She creates bodies of herself and sends them to earth to still have fun from time to time (Like a good day on Turkish beaches).
  She saved herself from becoming a beast since she still loved all her children even if they did terrible things. She separated herself into two forms and split her anger and love equally, which created the Turkish and Roman forms. If she got a wish from the Holy Grail, she would wish for a day with all her main children (all those nations are her children in a sense). She wants to cook for them, talk with them, scold them, and just want to spend time with them again.
Currently, she is in Gaia Stella, thanks to her ability called Independent Manifestation. She forces herself to be summoned when they were summoning servants in GS. She made the mistake of thinking of Bukatelia as Romans, so she sensed a great danger in Tynaria Alt. She doesn't know what it is, but she saw it thanks to her Mystic eyes.

Employment

When she summoned herself into Osservatoria Primaria in the year 635, she thought that she was arriving in the Roman Empire of her world. But after realizing that the Rome that she saw on Tynaria Alt was nothing more than similar, she decided to just linger around in the observatory. Doctor Gabriel Caranos took her in and gave her work in exchange for payment, food, and lodging. She would remain working there until 5 years later when the first Temporal Rip Transport Mission would begin. It would be her time to be the shielder servant that she truly was.
As of late Autumn of 640, Asena currently works as a lab assistant in the observatory. She can frequently be seen walking around the halls and overseeing missions along with Dr. Caranos.

Mental Trauma

Being the mother of multiple nations, Asena had to witness the many horrors that her children would end up committing. From Romulus killing his own brother to Genghis Khan overtaking nearly a whole continent, Asena could only stay in the heavens and watch. She still holds love for her children, but is frequently torn and conflicted about it.

Motivation

Asena's motivation to do what she does is driven by her love and will to protect her children. She summoned herself into Tynaria Alt because she thought the world was in grave danger. When no danger was sensed, she still decided to continue staying in the world, helping Gaia-Stella and the like.

Personality Quirks

Asena's two forms not only come with physical changes, but also with personality changes. Her Roman form represents her sadness and melancholy over civilization while her Turkish form represents her will as the mother of many nations to protect and defend her dear children and/or comrades. Her former form has her act rather cold and timid around others while the opposite is for the latter.
