Palewood
Palewood is a woodcutting community that is built over a Ley Line. Trees here seem to grow at an unnatural rate compared to anywhere else in the world. This makes them a focal point for building supplies in the country of Elleryn. In the Palewood region trees grow at an accelerated rate of around two to three weeks for a tree to be substantial enough to be used as building material.
Palewood is home to many fletchers, woodworkers and other craftsman. Small shrines to Feron'gar can be found along the outskirts of town, along with small ponds that shimmer and produce a beautiful blue light late into the night.
Defences
Palewood is surrounded by a 12 foot wall, made of their from their oldest and strongest trees. It is maintained every few years and played a paramount defense, in the Siege of Palewood when the necromancer Amon attack nearly a decade ago.
