As a young Librarian in Bushan, Amethyst fell in love with tales of mass destruction caused by gargantuan beasts roaming Tyras, often playing with toy Megalosaurs and Purple Worms. She put these dreams aside until she found an unsealed summoning contract written in Stonespeech, an ancient language that was almost eradicated and only spoken by Amethyst and the last of her people. Its words promised to tether a primordial earth titan to its master- with the stroke of a pen her childhood fantasies could become reality. After sneaking the text out of Ileyna's Archives, Amethyst escaped to the Solana Steppe where she forged her signature in the contract's binding clause, summoning the earth titan Ixachl (also known as Corundum), to the material plane. Now its master, she climbed upon it and directed it to traverse the plateau. Shortly after its summoning, the shadow of Cyrox appeared behind her requesting an audience. After interviewing her, Overlord Zygat was so enamored with her skills that he offered her an advisory role on the spot. Amethyst eagerly accepted, knowing that the world would bend to her, just like her toys.
