Zygat the Tempest
Overlord of the Hakgu
"Men's natures are alike, it is their habits that carry them far apart."The disgraced heir-apparent to the throne of Pergamon, Zygat left The Cometfall Theocracy as a failed Paladin for a crime he admits he committed- stealing a gold bar from the Temple of the Everlasting Sun. Wandering the Steppe, Zygat meditated and found enlightenment while studying under an elderly Loxodon named Jericho. During a Horde raid, Zygat and Jericho were captured and forced to fight as entertainment for them. Having impressed Overlord Djembwe at the pits, Zygat and Jericho were freed, becoming members of the Hakgu Peoples. Over time, tales of Zygat's skills became known and his patron God bestowed on him a gift that reaches only one Leonin per generation, the Divine Roar. Capable of rendering his enemies to dust with the sound of his voice, Zygat quickly rose to become General of the Hakgu Horde before taking absolute control after the death of Overlord Djembwe. As Overlord, Zygat continued his studies and began writing books on philosophy, love, and conquest. He has fundamentally shifted Horde culture and has softened practices that encouraged internal violence, ironically increasing their strength, preserving enough numbers to lay siege to larger settlements. After some time as Overlord, Zygat laid his claim to the throne of Pergamon and intends to siege it one day.
