The Lady of the Lake is an ancient Drathunae, a long lived aquatic species that built the cities of Il'Drathune and Il'Arbor. Residing in the Jellylight Comb, the Lady provides advice and life lessons for all who wish to learn from her, though she can only communicate through a complex systems of lights with her bioluminescence. Though Il'Bisalais have no formal government, the Lady is seen as the most trusted advisor and matriarch. Drathunae numbers have dwindled in the most recent era, as their reproduction seems to be stifled in some way. It is well known that the Lady of the Lake wants to establish a legacy for her people, either with descendants or through teaching the Il'Bisal their culture.
