Skald's passion for traveling and collecting stories has led them on a unique journey through Tyras. Despite being a Fire Genasi, Skald's curiosity and desire to explore The Underlake led them to acquire a necklace of waterbreathing and the Robes of the Cuttlefish, which allows the user to move quickly in water and alter their appearance. They were then able to visit Il'Drathune, a feat that is usually impossible for their kind. Skald's dedication and resourcefulness impressed the Lady of the Lake, who appointed them as a resident bard of the Jellylight Comb and personal interpreter. Skald's ability to modulate their flames allows them to communicate even more rapidly with bioluminescent language users than the local Deep Ones, significantly improving the efficiency of communication for the Lady of the Lake.
