The Temple of Silence is a place at the base of the Adamant Obelisk where Mage Hunters of the Yuan-Ti Empire learn to dampen the effects of other planes to a quiet whisper. Mage Hunters can cast antimagic fields rendering the strength of spells useless, granting distinct advantages to Yuan-Ti in battle. In addition to this, the antimagic fields do not negate psionics, allowing instantaneous communication to still occur between Yuan-Ti soldiers.
