Kanohi

West of Caiir on the northwestern coast of the Rock Plains, Kanohi is a small encampment which serves more militaristic and civil function. Staffed by Goliaths and supervised by the Humans of Marka, it provides overwatch of the northeastern mouth of The Bronze Strait, that they may alarm The Unified Council should Vescanian move from the north of Armistice Isle.
Though Kanohi is happy to receive visitors, it doesn't have much to offer other than a place to rest and trading for food and equipment. It lacks the defensive posturing of Westwatch due to its position high on the cliffs nearly 200 feet above the water, though its forces are always ready to engage.
Many Cairn consider servitude at Kanohi to be an honor, even if it hasn't proven itself in combat. While few consider the journey worthwhile, other than pilgrams and priests, the camp's intimate knowledge of the cliffs and Cairnbrow Mountains may be useful to adventurers and scholars.
