Bloodsteel

In this world, the knights and warriors forge their weapons and armor using a unique process that involves infusing iron with their own blood. This bloodsteel is said to be stronger and more durable than regular iron, and only the bravest and most skilled warriors are able to master this art. 
This is done by House Skelsmith alone, who guard the secret vehemently. The creation of Bloodsteel seperates them from common Blacksmiths and the Anvil Guild.
Although Bloodsteel weapons are idolized by the commonfolk as swords that can cut through anything and never break, the truth is that Bloodsteel swords are just stronger and more durable. They have the same cutting capacity as other swords, but they do not knick, and they do not break, which is still a great benefit, but they do not compare to Priscillan or even Xandrian artifacts.

Skelsmith is working on a big project to forge a Bloodsteel weapon for each House as commanded by Glore, leaving Glore for last with the best sword.
