Stonehaven Palace Ward

The palace ward is home to Castle Erdric, and houses the royal family and its retainers. The castle is the dominating presence within the ward, its banners flying high in the wind from the mighty towers that stretch ever skyward. The castle is surrounded by moat and featuring manned walls with machicolations. The castle itself is strictly off-limits by anyone not of royal blood, or permitted to be on the grounds and punishment for trespassing is imprisonment or possible exile. The Palace Ward connects to the Royal Docks through a series of channels and long stairways that are well guarded.
