Personal history

Jothan was raised by his mother, a rich heiress whose husband had died when Jothan was only a year old. He grew up in central London, and his station allowed him free time for tinkering with erythrine and scarp components from an old garage. He meets Nicolas Fleming as a child, and the two become fast friends, At the age of 15, Jothan was able to create his own, improved version of an erythrine engine, giving his lasting recognition in the scientific community. At 18, he and the 17 year-old Nicolas were accepted in the Imperial College of Science, Invention, and Technology. Jothan showed his generosity by paying for Nicolas's tuition, and they were eventually hired for the Victoriam Project.

When the city was completed, Hiram took credit for the project, and although Sixsmith's name was known, he was never given credit for all the work that they did.
