Korick
Korick was a sentient undead who has roamed The Shimmering Sands for decades. He enlisted the help of the party in tracking down the man who cursed him, Belyarus.
The party successfully cornered Belyarus near the Glass Fields. After fighting into the caverns of an old ant colony, Korick finally killed him. Betz carried Korick back to the surface so that he could see the sun set one last time.

History
Towards the end of their quest, Betz warmed to Korick after learning of his circumstances. Korick took a liking to Betz, seeing some of himself in him. He offered him his signature weapon upon his death.
