Crescent Shore
Where ancient apexes roam.
The Crescent Shore is a mysterious island within The Ocean of the Drowned. On this island dinosaurs roam, bugs grow to the size of horses, and ancient mysteries are waiting to be uncovered. However, adventurers must tread lightly lest the jungle take you.
Geography
The island itself is a large island split into 2 main pieces. The first piece is large landmass in the center of the seperated island. The main feature of this piece is the large crescent shaped beach which has a large jagged rock which towers above the crescent shaped bay. Landing on this bay there is a small beach in the center, but to the right there is a larger beachead with a distinctive large rock. This rock has the symbol of The Ascending Wild etched on the side in chalk. Aside from the beaches the island is covered in a dense jungle which is extremely hard to manuever through. The main feature of this piece is the large mountain range which has an active volcano in the center.
The second piece is not quite as large, but is located across a small straight which has a large circle rock rising against the sea. This straight is very rocky and would require an excellent captain to manuever through. The mass on the other side is also covered in a dense jungle and there is hardly any gap between the jungle and the beach. This island also has a small mountain on it.
Other than the two main masses the island has small independant island, which dont have much to offer.

Ecosystem
The ecosystem on this island is solely unique to this island only. On this island the flora and fauna are strangely grown to gigantic sizes and mutated which in general means they are more dangerous. Most interesting of all however is the fact that the ancient giant lizards known as dinosaurs roam freely on this island.
Most of the dinosaurs on the island are large carnivores and since the other non-dinosaur fauna on the island are grown to giant sizes, the carnivores feed off them for their main food source. As for the gigantic animals and especially insects they will feed off the unique plants and the small amount of normal sized traditional critters like rabbits, large cats, and other creatures native to jungles.
One other unique feature of this island is the large amount of plants that are carnivorous. For example the feared Corpse Flower is a massive plant which consumes any animal that it can fit into its mouth and get its tendrils on. The plant will then spit out its victim as a mindless drone under its control. This plant is one of many horrors that both the local fauna and explorers have to worry about.
Localized Phenomena
The island's storms are especially harsh even compared to other islands on the ocean. The storms on this island are most of the time hurricane level with winds strong enough to uproot trees. During these storms rainfall can flood entire regions and lightning strikes every couple of seconds. For those who have lived through these storms they remark that they seem almost mystical in nature.

History
The island was first discovered by Shadow Claw in 242ATB when he left his clan the The Ascending Wild due to making contact with a part of the piece of The Beckoner. Shadow Claw originally was called to the island by a mysterious voice in his head and he went there in an effort to find the second piece to The Beckoner. In order to properly explore the island he also enlisted the help of Jacques Waves at Sea and his crew to help explore. Overtime they grew to be friends and landed on the island to find the piece. When they landed they were greeted with the harsh ecosystem and raging storms which nearly killed them many times. Despite this they found their way into the Temple of Umberlee and fought through the Sahaugin guards and it is there they discovered the true power of The Beckoner. When they found the artifact however the volcano began to erupt and Shadow Claw was consumed by the lava leaving Jacques alone, but in order to honor his friend he promised himself he would find the artifact.
Climate
The climate on this island is quite harsh. The island is hot year round and often times is very humid making exploring very uncomfortable. The island is also prone to receive extremely large storms that have the power to uproot trees and drive most of the inhabitants underground.
