General Summary

- Exhausted, the party rested.
- Farren and Alton, realizing that Harold had been recently kidnapped by mindflayers, were concenerned that he might be infected somehow
- Neither were particularly knowledgeable in the area. If this were the case, they assumed he had hours or days.
- Farren used locate creature to confirm their suspicions. He struggled to see it with the naked eye.
- Beau attempted to remain in the safety of her dome come morning, when the problem was explained to her. However, the dome expired.
- Alton asked Vaena if she knew how to deal with the problem. Vaena claimed she could remove the problem, but could not fix Harold afterwards.
- Alton proposed surgically removing it.
- Harold seemed to be hallucinating Tiana, who was concerned that this could damage him. Donnie seemed to want to hear out his friends. Rambure Willowscribe called him son. He called Rambure "Rando". None of these people were present.
- Farren asked Alton if his mother would no. Alton said yes, but did not want to go to her for help.
- The flumphs seemed unable to assist.
- Harold grew concerned that Gantar was not answering and found that he was no longer immune to radiant damage, with the captain's help.
- Beau cast a protective spell on Harold. Farren asked for light. Beau lit torches. Ryltar woke up and cast a spell. The captain used his sword to shine additional light. He then used his magical tattoo to become ethereal and peak into Harold's head. He banished the tadpole.
Why would you tell her where we are?
- Meanwhile, Alton had received some sendings from his mother, first demanding he return home, then asking, even, after some grumbling, using the word please.
Alton Redoran. Come home, now.
"Fine, then where are you?"
"Clearly, whatever you and your Duke are trying to accomplish, you have failed. We can help each other. No... ugh... Please, where are you?"
- Alton gave their location.
- Vaena noticed some scrying sensors in the area.
- Harold and Alton argued over the rashness of this decision, loudly giving away their specific location.
Ok, But first, Gantar
- One of Alton's sisters arrived with seven others, demnding he go with her.
- The captain cast zone of truth
- She claimed he had a little brother he could meet.
- She tried threatening the still unconcious children in the building behind.
- She promised that she would not hurt him.
- After some back and forth, she revealed that they had recently been attacked, and some stranger had saved them but was now demanding Alton to complete some transaction. She wasn't allowed to kill him at that time.
- Alton was going to agrere to go with her. Farren somehow managed to persuade her to help them retrieve Gantar first, and then they would all go with her.
