Ah yes, my mother. She always had a very typical 'I'll sleep when I'm dead' mentality. I can only assume that someone informed her that sleep was for the weak, because when the time at last came for her to face her mortality, she came out of that meeting a literal god. And of course that means I won't get any rest either.

Lyra Auranoryr, goddess of the Auroliryni dark elves, formerly the queen of the dark mountain, among the gods of Vyaelian, she is one of the youngest. As queen, she led a mildly eventful life, uniting the dark elves of Kariva under her banner, opening trade routes, never missing a party to which she had been invited, and amassing a fortune to rival the dwarves of the northern mountains.
The stories accuse her of many things, in life, in death, and in divinity. One tale tells that she named herself and her entire kingdom after an extremely drunk ambassador's attempt at uttering an improvised alias. Another tells that she at once purchased her divine spark from Cravyre the hero and paid the fiend Andichar to abandon his ship.
She is known to meddle more directly than many of her more ancient peers, even trading a bit of luck or help for a coin or two in her temples and shrines, which can be found far beyond her kingdom's borders. Since the unfortunate decline of Busni, she has grown in influence as a goddess of trade throughout Vyaelian.
