General Summary
I would like to not get murdered for impersonating Drizzt.
Wrapping up
- Alton tested to see if he could fly and found that he could still glide but that was all
- Alton considered buying a +2 arrow of returning but could not return it, so he had Harold's enchanters enhance his bow instead.
- Alton found a scrap of poetry that named Kayelin.
- Captain Farren was given a vision by Luin, which ended in her giving him a candle, and warning him that it would burn quickly and so he should only need it when it was so dark he needed her light. A foreign deity's meddling, is no triffling matter, and is nearly impossible to begin with.
- The Theives' Guild negotiated with the captain to leave his bank alone, except for one predetermined day a year, where they would try to steal something and Harold's Landing could prepare all they wished to stop them.
- Beau and Fearenando worked hard on disguises for later.
Goodbye Vyaelian! Also, Harold Gets Chewed Out
- The crew was all willing to venture to other worlds with the party
- Wanting to minimize any issues on the surface with Alton and Ryltar, captain Farren asked Fernando for green cloaks with white fur for some reason.
- The captain took the chair and tried to focus on his home city
- Harold turned into a chunk of purple lianyte, for "safety". This resulted in the ship draining all the captain's magic, and jumping uncontrollably between Vyaelian, the astral plane, and somewhere above Waterdeep.
- The party picked up a hitchhiker in the astral plane, who turned out to be an avatar of Rayne who claimed he had been more or less sent by Thor, with the permission of some local deity, to help them out.
- Harold was eventually tricked into transforming back.
- The ship would require three months to recharge thanks to the mishap.
- The ship did eventually arrive where it was meant to go, but it left a large tear in the sky.
- The captain gave Harold hell.
Jake
- At the docks, the captain found that he rercognized the watchman who came to confront them. It was his old friend Jake.
- Jake looked significantly older than the captain remembered.
- It was revealed that 19 years hand passed since the captain was last in Faerun, and 20 years had passed since Alton had left.
- During this time, Farren had been presumed dead. Jake had married a sorceress name Janette, and fathered a child. Unfortunately, Janette had died some time ago, in some kind of unstable magical explosion.
- The party made plans to meet Jake for drinks later, and paid the docking fee.
- Jake was so surprised to see Farren, that he forgot to fine him for the ship's entrance.
Captain Kitty Bradshaw
- In the inn, the captain was approached by a pirate captain he recognized.
- She indicated that it was a great year for profit.
- She almost offered Farren a job.
- She tried to get the party to pay for information, claiming that there had been a man named Andrew Smith staying in the city for almost a decade, waiting for Farren. The man had left over a year ago, but she knew where he had been.
- She also indicated that she had met Riley Blythe in the past.
- She planned to lead the party to the location after she had a meal.
Sapphires
- Harold sent Gim to buy a sapphire.
- Farren contemplated the inevitable rise of prices of sapphires in Vyaelian if there really were none left.
Rewards Granted
- Rayne?
- Luin's Candle
- +1 to Kayelin's bow and 50 holy water arrows
