Witt Mar
Witt Mar was the son of Isobel Mar and leader of the Merchant's Guild . He appeared youthful, if tired. There was a strange ethereal snakelike creature, later identified as a fiend of some sort, wrapped around his neck. It was deduced that this creature was controlling him in some way, though recent stresses had made this control difficult to maintain.
It was suspected that he had been responsible for sending devil bounty hunters after the party, wanting revenge for the death of his mother as well as the loss of Dainard "Two Finger" Garside's ship.
He was responsible for locking up Flora, Sir Finn the Green 's ex wife in order to keep Finn silent on the coming war. He likewise freed Tiana, and the fiend attempted to control her instead.
When the party met him, he stood and took damage, until Zed interrupted the fiend's control and he fell unconscious.
The party took Witt prisoner, but released him on the promise that he would free Finn and Flora. He has a signed confession from Zed. He, representing the merchant's guild, and the party have promised to stay out of each other's way.
