Bočetti
The Bočetti are a people of Arteri Humans that occupy the Bočechnian Lowlands. They are part of the Five Brothers of Vexan and share ancestry with the other Vexans, although long colonisation by the Urungká has influenced their language, culture and customs to be more akin to their former dwarven overlords.
The Bočetti peoples
The Bočetti can be undercatagorized into 8 people, who all fall under the great umbrella of Lakefolk; Bočetti.Czatczêkia
North-East, cultural centre Mesherk
Mostly a trading culture, as they hold the vast majority of all seaworthy vessels of Bočechnia, as well as it’s coastal navy. The people of Czatczêkia are of free and mostly independent, with local counts and lords holding traditionally more power than the duke who oversees them.Norbatika
North-West, cultural centre Rhisvya
Mostly a fishing culture, not really occupied with trading over sea, although they have close ties, both ethnically and religiously, with the Duchy of Arcia, which whom they trade a lot.Ryadlovks
East, cultural centre Bobki
A true highland culture, the Ryadlovkska are a more rough folk then the average in Bočechnia. They hold a large portion of the country’s professional soldiery, as well as the iron mines to sustain the armories.Bečopolta
Between Arder- and Krylgeann lake, cultural centre Krylapech
The Bečopoltans are in the political heartland of Bočechnia, with the highest literacy and overall education rates. The vast majority of the rulers of Bočechnia have been of these lands. They occupy themselves with all sorts of matters, although their focus outside of politics has long been laying on the inland trade over the central lakes.Borakhalin
South, cultural centre Bokin
The southern people of Borakhalin have long been troubled by high rates of criminality and roving bands of goblins, which has resulted in the Borakhalin being one of the more xenophobic peoples in the land. If it isn’t human, they do not wish to have to do anything with it, besides getting it away from their land.Nikaeldaria
South-East, cultural centre Akros
The lands around Nika lake have since ages long past been inhabited by a large minority of Eldar, the Western Eldar. Although humans do make up for the majority of the people here, they have been long content with letting eldar rule their lands and do generally most of the governing. This has resulted in the Nikaeldarians being generally more open to outside influences to begin with.Tríjezlinia
Far South-East, cultural centre Dutivl (although since that city is in Urunkhar the centre of the Bočechnian half of the people are centered around Butivl)
The lands of Tríjezlinia are on the border with the Urunkharian dwarves and although relations with their bearded neighbours have been not always great, they do tend to trade a lot. The Tríjezlinians have associated themselves most of all with themselves more then to Urunkhar or Bočechnia, lacking the military or diplomatic strength to give hope for an eventual independence, but the wish is certainly there. The people are currently split, since the Urunkharian-Bočechnian border goed right between the country, separating the more agrarian north from the more urban south.Gogakia
Far South, cultural centre Depan
Gogaland, or Gogakia is just like the Ryadlovkska mostly highland area. This has made the people here mostly live of the herding of sheep and other herding animals, like mountain gnus. Other then the more warrior people of Ryadlovks, the Gogakians are considered to be a more calm people, rather walking away from a problem then having to solve it with violence. Although this does not mean they take kindly to invaders or criminals.
