The Known World

The world called Eberron sits in space, influenced by The Planes, and is the source of natural life. Its people live mostly on the main continents: Khorvaire is the vast northern continent, the home of the Five Nations, a diverse and varied land central to many of the world’s struggles. Home to everything from humans to orcs to dinosaurs, the Dragonmarked Houses, and the majority of dragonmarks. Xen'drik is the enormous and mysterious southern continent, known to stretch from the equator to the poles. Vast and unexplored, home to the fallen Giant empire and the drow. The West Isles sit isolated off of its coast. Aerenal is the island home of the elven people, after their escape from Xen’drik millennia ago. Sarlona is dominated by the human empire of Riedra, an authoritarian but peaceful nation focused around veneration of their great spirits beyond. Argonessen is the mysterious land of the dragons, the little-explored and closed off country ruled by the ancient and supremely powerful creatures.
