A large trading town nestled up against the Frosthelm Mountains
It is a prosperous town, with its wealth built on industry and mining. There are several large iron, and silver mines in the mountains to the north. The city prospers on trade in mining resources and also has a large community of Dwarfs. There are good relationships with the Dwarf stronghold to the Northwest of Frostfast. To the south of the town there are many farms. To the West there is forestry work, and farmsteads, but these have recently been under attack from an influx of raids from the Forest Orcs

Ferratt - known for its special Salt Apples and a peaceful lake the locals use to dispose their dead, keeping the fishes abundant. Beware the sewers however as the local wizard keeps pets there including a gigantic troll head.The town is highly fortified. There are orc settlements in the mountains and forests nearby and there are regular attacks from various orc clans on trade. However he last assault on the actual town of Feratt was over 100 years ago. There is a well maintained militia along with a unit of elite Imperial Guard. They will often be seen training in the grounds outside the keep. Ursatz Keep Home of the Imperial Guard Unit (Frost helms) have black bear heads sigils on their helmets. The Ruler of Feratt: Count Ricard Ursatz is currently away in court at the capital Westfal City. His wife is in residence Countess Isabella Ursatz i The town is now managed by Isabella’s sister: Councillor Marrisa D’Abille who is aware of the countess’s affliction. The local militia is organised by Captain Miguel. He is efficient and to the point. He is overworked and stressed keeping the town safe from the many local dangers. Since the comet has landed things are getting crazy! Surrounding Area: Also in the Forests to the West are several ruined and abandoned outposts of the empire, along with villages and farmsteads that the Orcs have raided. Town Locations: Orcs Head Inn In the center of town, this Inn is frequented by travelers, nobles and merchants. Prices are higher than normal, but high quality. The Hammerhead Hammerhead Ale: (brewed in house) Knocker: (Vodka like spirit) ‘Harsh but true’ Demon’s Eye: Fruit wine, (stronger than it seems) Cheap and frequented by workers, miners and local peasants. It is basic, but good. Church Of St Ignus Martin's Well Axiom's Tower Feratt Great Forge This area of the Dwarven quarter houses several forges, and manufacturing facilities. Smiths of note are: Gratt(person) (Dwarf male artisan armor smith) and Fince(person) (Human female artisan weapon smith). Both have several specialty items of note for sale (non-magical) and are capable of creating items to order if given time and money.
