Kara Amakiir
49th Enchanter of the Eight
Overwhelmingly charming and impressive, Kara Amakiir is a female half-elf enchanter in her late 30s. Despite her relative youth, she has overseen Alterus for 13 years and is one of the youngest wizards in history to join the Eight. As the half-elf ruler of a predominantly elven city, it took some time to gain the trust of the people. However, her ability is unquestioned, and the (friendly) inhabitants of the High Forest have the utmost belief in her.
Kara has made the suppression of aggressive, monstrous creatures of the forest a top priority, and the militia of Alterus has grown under her watch. In dire times, she has stepped out into the forest, often erasing the threat without any violence. While she does not hold the most political influence in Winderia, there may not be a more powerful wielder of the spoken word in the nation, or perhaps the world.
