Lathas

Lathas is an ancient world of unrepressed mountain ranges, sprawling green forests, rolling plain lands, and a vast, unforgiving desert. The Sea of Alliane, dotted with many small islands, nearly splits the mainland into two. In the Northwest, an expansive and bottomless abyss (commonly referred to as Lathas’ Scar, or simply, “The Scar”) tears jaggedly through the earth - the surrounding lands mostly inhospitable and unsuitable to nearly every living being. A large, secluded, and inaccessible island lies just to the Southwest, lost and forgotten to the world.
The world is home to countless numbers of creatures and beings. Lathas knows four seasons (winter, spring, summer, and autumn) and has one sun and one moon.
