Lady Isabella Briarglade (Lavey)
A woman of refined lavish tastes. She has endlessly long hair that shines brilliantly like warm fire with precious emeralds woven into its strands, and eyes that glow greener than the deepest of warm forests. A dhampir, but unknown to all but The Inquisition itself, who she has agreed to spy for. She is highly wealthy, and is always expected to show at every ball or gathering in manor hill, and even beyond, such as Standholme and Drachenthorne. She is the daughter of the Drachenthorne covens lord, Vladamir Von Carstein, they do not speak, and she hates him for many unknown reasons. Isabella is regarded as the most beautiful woman in all of Vedania, and arguably the known world. Many have tried for her hand, and only a few have managed. She has assisted many adventurers over the years, but none gathered her interest more than the mysterious band of warriors in the year of 1632.
She has held council with the most powerful of Counts and Countesses of Vedania throughout her life, befriending those such as Count Davion Vaughn and Countess Casady Somera. Whilst she appears to be in good relations with the rich and powerful, she secretly despises them and what they stand for. Freedom of choice and lifestyle are what she holds most dear, and would dare any who oppose her to relinquish these rights from her.
Isabella had a difficult upbringing, her mother died in childbirth and her father a madman. Isabella's father, Vladamir Von Carstein, was obsessed with creating a vampiric curse that could withstand the sunlight, something that his only child held. His experiments became out of control over the course of two centuries, culminating in the split of the House of Von Carstein in winter 1632. In 1513 when Isabella was sixteen, she fled the coven house of Drachenthorne to strike out on her own and discover life by herself. Realizing she had no place among true mortality, she followed her darker instincts south. Far to the east of the Duchy of Lilyveil she arrived within the vile and warped landscape of the Slave Realm of the Mothers. Where she sought out true power and freedom from the daughters of Baba Yaga. Isabella spent decades deciphering the texts of the long disappeared witch queen Baba Yaga, under the tutelage of her trusted mentor, Mr. Fox. It was he that showed her the darkest secrets of witchcraft and helped the young Dhampir unlock true and raw potential.
