Marshacre
The little town of Marshacre is filled with a superstitious bunch. The town is based on the creeping edge of the Willrend Forest, and they are all too familiar with the forest and its deep rooted malicious intents. The population are mostly woodsmen, loggers and bee keepers. They stick to the outskirts of the forest and cut down the old trees from the forest and let the new growth that appears over the winter months grow. A small palisade of aged oak surrounds the town proper and the center of the settlement. The largest attraction for the town is the brothel, The Sun and Cider. The brothel harbors the most attractive women that come from all around Mistfen Mire. Marshacre also has a very well respected underground society of artists, a profession not seen often in the country. Marshacre is deep within the pockets of the Merchant Princes of Westermarrow. However, the people here are different than most others in the Mire, for they like the merchant princes. They pay the wages and provide the work and the guidance for industry. Due to most travelers coming south from Tel Morath, and their avoidance of Greenfog, Marshacre sees many travelers, and are always willing to give them jobs that most folks just don't have the heart to take.
