Surrounded by dark clouds of ever-changing colour and vivid magical storms of shocking ferocity.
A land of perpetual dusk and dawn cycles, the lands themselves forever changed by the influence of fey and of shadow.

The Lands of Albacarius are wild and unique.
Cloud breaker Peaks This massive mountain range run of sharp jagged peaks runs North To south almost entirely bisecting the lands of Albacarius.
Shivermist To the west of the Continent of Albacarius are the unnaturally fast spreading woodlands of the Shivermists, ever creeping down the western side of the mountains into the Summer Glen and towards to coast all through the river-lands of the Tor'na'lia and beyond.
Moors of Dread the low lying hills that surround the Northern most peaks of the Cloud breaker peaks and lead to the hellish swamps of the mounds of Purgatory where the noxious gases seem to want you dead as much as the flora and fauna
Carrion Palisade a steep sided mountainous outcrop on the far east coast of Albacarius overlooking the Iel'debarian Sea, the great chasms and gorges that climb through these mountains, seem to have horrid bone like protrusions escaping the ghoulish grey granite mountains, looking like ribs split open by some mammoth beast giving the place a dreadful and ominous feeling
The Unbearing Outlands thought to have once been the location of the Forest Of Tilia. What ever happened here almost a milenia ago has left this once beautiful woodland a barren husk, burned of life devoid of life. Only cracked ground and scattered petrified trunks litter the ground in the outlands, all the while dust and sand is whipped up by the winds that batter this exposed place almost constantly. However the worst is always when it rains, ground once difficult to traverse becomes almost impossible, as the caustic salt rich sands, fall into sinkholes if your unlucky enough to drop a foot into one you'd better hope you don't get sucked under into the bowels of the earth below
Localized Phenomena
The World End Storm/Void Storm - For almost 1000 years the Continent of Albacarius has been engulfed in an enormous spherical wall of warping energies that twist and a lace together through an opaque mesh of cloud-like structures that allows nothing physical to pass through either in or out. The clouds and shifting arcane energies are almost enough to not allow any sun or moonlight through causing the entire continents to be in this eternally dim light that seems to come more from the storms energies itself. The sphere itself also seems to be constantly pulling and tearing at the fabric of the weave and material plane around it causing errant surges to lash out at the lands themselves. The storm's are lethal to the inhabitants of the Albacarius in so many ways.
History
For nearly 1000 years, a tremendous globe like wall of storm has surrounded Albacarius cutting it off from the World of it's creation, the Storm is impenetrable to spell, sight or any light.
