Sisters of the Night

The Sisters of the Night are a Slaaneshi Warband created when a small number of Adepta Sororitas were corrupted by Chaos during a joint mission with the Verum Illuminate. Initially, the corrupted Sisters hailed from the Pronatus order called the Order of the Dawn. After her perceived failure and blasphemy toward the golden throne, when the squad failed to capture a psyker named Brently, Julia Sansoucy was the first to take the Oath of Repentance. The four other members of her squad followed suit, later on, joining the ranks of the Repentia. Slowly, whispers of doubt and corruption started poisoning her mind. Julia Sansoucy was the founder of the Sisters of the Night. Being well-liked and a great fighter, she became a role model for the other Sisters Repentia. Those who knew her best would follow her without question, so four other sisters followed when she fell to Slaanesh. They are now known as Followers of Slaanesh. They recruit civilians and other sisters who would have ended up in a penitent engine or Mortifier to fill their ranks. The Sisters of the Night is a fleet-based Warband that moves from adventure to adventure on a whim. Still, some are stationed in orbit of Slaanesh cults' strongholds to protect the planet.
