Session 60: Reaching Harker's Keep Report

General Summary

18th of Ares 500 CD
The companions of the Shining Eclipse continue on the fields as the storm that was created by Zayrdi has now expanded and seems to be following them. The lightning striking the dead minotaur's over and over again. There were three fields that had to be cleared and the each one had three minotaur's and 60 slaves on them. The party used the storm and the some magic with disguises to draw in the minotaur's. Lighting even struck minotaur's along the way. The one thing that the lighting continued to do was strike the dead minotaur's over and over again. The party began discussing the storm guessing at who was doing this. Arceven popped off with a comment about Zeus that all most got him killed a three bolts of lightning struck around him. As they moved from field to field they ran into a halfling by the name of Thorn Underbrough who was chosen by the widow to be the leader of the Halfling. Thorn recognizes the Prince of his homeland and starts to cry quoting "This is what happens when you honor your pantheons they send princes to rescue you". He informs the group of other leaders of each race that is a slave here. He also tells them of two minotaur's who have been converted by a large minotaur who had been capture recently and was being forced to serve the widow. He was constantly beaten for his kindness to the slaves all ways helping the slaves. When they came upon the field that Marza Thunderfist she led the slaves away from the fight then went to the Baroness pleading to become a blood sister of the blood sister of the Great Raz' Thrak. In total the companions took out 11 minotaur's and freed 240 slaves. Now they are close enough to see the keep. What awaits them in the keep will be the next question. They do know that there are 60 more slaves that still need to be rescued. What they don't know is the numbers inside the keep.

• 700 EXP Awarded to Raz' Thrak.
• 8 large Great Axes. 
• A letter signed by Arannis Duskwalker giving the order to kill all the slaves in three days
