August was a slow month for worldbuilding but it sure ended with a bang! I try not to watch awards streams so as not to stress myself out so imagine my surprise when my Discord starts blowing up while I'm playing video games. My name was called twice on stream and I still cannot believe it.
My article about the Physi known as Slumber won the prompt for a technology used for defense or protection. The Physi are something I loved created so I'm so appreciative that others love the fluffy little creatures as much as I do. If you haven't yet, take a look at the Slumber and their colorful brethren.
As for the second time my name was called on stream, apparently Shiftrex and I will be going on a cruise! I still haven't fully processed this and probably won't for some time since it all seems like a dream.
Thank you so so much to everyone who has supported Isekai and the stories that we have wanted to tell over the last 5 years. It is unbelievable how much this community cares and builds us all up and I am so appreciative to have found a community that is so loving but willing to push people to be their best.
Here's to another 5 years of awesome writing and a support system that is amazing :)

River Rush - August Update #1
Summer Camp is over and while that is somewhat sad, it opens the doors for a lot of new ideas and projects to take place and get started before we find ourselves in WorldEmber. For those who have noticed, I have taken a small step back from Isekai the past week to work on our other world Seireitei. A lot of the framework already exists in that world but I have learned a lot in the past two years since I last worked on it and some of the articles need a lot of help in terms of formatting.
Seireitei is an alternate universe world based on the Bleach manga and anime written by Kubo Tite. I started it towards the end of 2019 as a pet project after losing my job with the hopes that we would one day play a TTRPG in that world again. While that doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon, the hype about the anime coming back in October has made me want to work on it again. Feel free to give the world a follow, but know that it will be a bit different than the Isekai content you may be used to.
There will be some Isekai updates and cleanup coming depending on how I feel so keep an eye out for that over the next couple of months. Also with Summer Camp being over, I plan to be consistent with these updates, normally posting weekly.

River Rush - Summer Camp Update #5
There are only a few days left for Summer Camp this year and I am super proud of what I have accomplished. While I was trying for that Feral 40, I did complete Diamond with articles I'm proud of and that feels like a better accomplishment. I still have a few articles in the works, but I may or may not get them published before Summer Camp officially ends.

I feel like this past week has slowed down considerably due to lots of traveling and events taking up my time but Diamond is super close and that Feral 40 is still calling my name. I'm hoping to knock out a few more prompts tomorrow and the next day so I can get even closer to finishing them all.

River Rush - Summer Camp Update #2
The inspiration has been flowing like crazy the last couple of weeks! Isekai officially reached 900,000 words and I have completed 15 prompts so far! I already have ideas for the next 5 and have started brainstorming on a few, but those will have to wait for the rest of the week.
I'm super excited for the next wave of prompts and what this momentum means for Isekai's future!

Summer Camp is off to a crazy start! The first week isn't even over and I have 6 completed articles, 1 partially finished, and 3 more that I have ideas for. I hope to finish this first wave of prompts in time to start the Silver prompts on Saturday when they are released.

River Rush Weekly Update
Historically, I have been horrible about posting updates but with the help of my little Finch Cranberry and a whole lot of encouragement from this community, I'm going to try again. Look for weekly updates hopefully about what is going on with the world of Isekai and all things that Shiftrex and I are up to.
As part of this prep, Isekai is also going through a slight CSS overhaul, done by the amazing Damion Otter so if things seem a bit off, please let me know!

River Rush - October Edition
With the new hashtags and all the updates to the global feed, I figured it was about time to start (attempting) monthly updates about the state of Isekai and what Shiftrex and I are up to in the Anvilspace.
Shiftrex may or may not be participating in WorldEmber, but you can expect to see more countries and even possibly some Storybook content from him over the next couple of months.

Spooktober
Once again, I attempted #Spooktober and actually succeeded! While I didn't reach the 20 squashed stubs that I wanted, I still finished 13 great articles that added a little more life to Isekai with species. Super happy with what I did accomplish and am excited to continue forward.More Countries
If you've been following Isekai for a while, you've probably seen the massive country articles that have been published. My husband is the brains behind those and we are still working through the larger countries on the Northern Continent. This month, he finished the Elven Kingdom which has been a hit!Future Plans
#WorldEmber Prep month is upon us (tomorrow)! I will be participating in the homework that will be put out on stream and prepping myself for the big event. Overall, my plans are to finish many of the partially complete articles that I made during Summer Camp and do some more cleanup on Isekai as well.Shiftrex may or may not be participating in WorldEmber, but you can expect to see more countries and even possibly some Storybook content from him over the next couple of months.
