Session 15 - A New Day Report

General Summary

With some time to breathe after the events of the last few days, the party separated for a moment.

Feyre and Doxa reunited with Gunn and Nance. Gunn and Nance were caught kindling a romance. Nance later explained that charges against her were dropped and something seemed to go wrong with Kara Towers efforts to investigate. Later, as the Dusters reconvened at The Liger and the Titanium Peak, Nance told Feyre that she was ready to put Dusters to rest and try something quieter, saying that she wants to see Gunn get the magical training he wants and that Doxa likely won't jump back into danger after being resurrected. Feyre also sent letters to her brother Dorian Blackwood, inquiring about the family situation and to Dimitry Laikanov asking to meet with him.

Dac improved his visor while pondering the strange quest that Naltyr has asked him to complete.

Rayla attended a birthday celebration for Kthh Lthhk in Hollow. As Darla Daleclover gave a toast to the ooze, (and congratulated it on giving birth!) Rayla spoke with Avex Steelhoof. Avex tersely remarked that he spoke with Yira Inkstep and resolved the issue. Disquieted by her vision that she experienced in the Outer Wilds, Rayla returned to the Fey Gate to observe it and reflect on a long passed night with Willow Meadowstride here. She also spoke with Maeve Glitterwing who confronted the harsh realities of living as Feykin in the city, unable to return to the Fey Realm -- the boundaries of Hollow like a cage that keeps the fey inside. When Rayla returned home that night, she recieved a disturbing message from Yira - "You should not have done that."

Winnow worked on a painting on her bedroom wall, adding an image of Doxa to it. She was suddenly met with an image of Mazarathes who questioned her about her work. Crossing boundaries, The Ebon Prince took over Winnow's body, utilizing her shapeshifter nature to travel and explore the city. The following morning Winnow awoke with no memory of what Mazarathes but spoke to Jondam about her experiences. Mazarathes seemed petulant, juvenile, and unaware of boundaries as he appeared to Winnow again. Jondam cast the divination spell, allowing Winnow to get a straight, truthful answer from Mazarathes. He claimed he saved her awhile ago because she was in pain and no one should suffer that much.

Each of the party members had a letter from Kara Towers asking to meet with them again in light of new developments in her case.
