CC: Session 6: Called to the Stars Report
General Summary
Boots met the shadowy Ghost, who taught him the path of shadow. Before leaving, Ghost told Boots to look after his cousin: to look after Crumbs.
The morning news was on. Tano discussed how they just need a little more time before the city is forever changed. She stated having support from the OPD, Trinity from the Brass Bloods, and her father at Hadescorp.
With information on Darus' lost ship, the Stargazer, the party decided to make finding it a priority. That said, they started the day with a trip to Sakura. Vox hacked into Izden's system and flooded the local system with orders for speedbumps to slow down the Brass Bloods (the ones they themselves gave bikes too).
Heading to the Stargazer, they stumbled upon some citizens complaining about shades siphoning energy off the power grid. Axe promised they would come back and help later.
Moving closer to their destination, they witnessed a shade, much like the ones discussed, siphoning energy to Danom's Hall of Holograms. A Sun Elf named Himo, joined up with this party explaining that he needed to kill a target on Stargazer. Leaving Danom's Hall of Holograms for later, they continued on.
Reaching the ship, Vox hacked the keypad, noticing it had been changed. The party first explored the navigation room. In which they recovered a black box, but not before fighting off the ooze that appeared in the room. The ramblings of Rali could be heard. Apparently he is working with Tano, but for Adimus.
Moving on, the party met Cinran. The member of the Chantry of Bells stated that he needed helped clearing out beasts that were on the line between reality and The Ether. The party agreed and went into sewage dump. Inside they battled against necrotic vines, which were eventually transformed into a harmless mouse and carried off by Cinran, the hero. Cinran thanked the party and awarded Boots with Cinran's Smile Stick. Searching the corpses, Vox found reports from Tano stating worry that Rali's work would "sour the taste of men".
Following the sewage into the lab, the party was greeted by gas spores, which were delt with by rolling them into Darus' bedroom and having Boots throw in a homemade explosive.
Heading into the animal storage cell, Vox found the missing lab assistant, Gary the Grik. They saved Gary and collected the human brain scoop. They let Gary be for now, he has had a long...period of time.
Taking a final search in the lab, Vox discovered that Rali has moved onto a new lab more focused on splicing human DNA.
The party then traveled into the comms room. In which they find a dinosaur stuck in the storage deck. Mellow transformed the shape of the ship to let it walk out. They then cast a beast bond on it and made it their friend. They now have a friendly collared dinosaur (I think they named it).
Lastly, they headed to the gun deck. In which they found Gene stuck in spiderwebs. Carbide stepped in to help her and felt something thick and disgusting drop onto him from the blackness and webs above.
