In the aftermath of the pyrrhic victory of Stonehall. The Party gathers around a courtyard of funeral pyres. Jericho's mentor and commander Ryndall among them. The Baron, was a close friend of the Opal Knight, and knows his wishes to have Jericho Succeed him in this role dispite it being a dwarven only tradition. In respects to the Old knights wish he will offer the position to Jericho who in his eyes have gained his trust. The Baron also has heard word from some of his scouts that hold outs of stronger demons remain in the city and will ask the party to deal with a particularly troublesome group before they head out to seek aid from Kaido, and search for Graz'zat himself.
Jericho and Auska return to Stonehall with a few survivors from Hampstead after fleeing the Dark Prince Graz'zat. Meanwhile Pollux is brought to Sun Grove by Arthur who takes him to explain the situation to The Arch Priestess Thessa to attempt an audience with Lady Zuraine the Demigoddess of Knowledge.
Returning to Hampstead to visit his ailing aunt, Jericho, Pollux and Auska discover the grislily scene of a laughing man clawing his own face off in the middle of the street. This signals a whole new horrifying mystery in the small town as the Sherriff announces that this is the second victim in a few days that has behaved similarly. Additionally Three travelers arrive in town shortly afterwards. A Sea elf and Drow looking for clues about lost loved ones. And a Mysterious Masked Monk traveling the streets searching for something as well.
A Dryad named Shanta appears before Illiana with a message from her mistress Zuraine, A Legendary Chronicler of Elven History with a request for her to meet her at her Keep deep within Dwain's Forest called Zy-Crithtirith or The White-Sun Tower, and she wants her to bring Ellie along too.
After braving the desert and the chaos of the scar the party finds themselves once more withing the lands of the Barony of stone a large military encampment of dwarves spread out beyond the city of New Zanaosta. A detachment of dwarven warriors on strange stone vehicles greets them and insists they accompany them to meet the Commander of the Camp Jorgmir Tall-Pillar before they can advance.
After the attack and subsequent raid on the Whisperers base Jericho is asured that his cause is just but a few of the others are not as willing to get involved in Wu's Rebellion.
The PArty continues their journey to the Kingdom of Apohphia throught the bright plains. their next stop along the way however is the City of New Zanaosta, a place of great reverance to the Dwarven people of Zelltross
Illiana escapes the parties captors and now must attempt to rescue Ellie and Jericho from the Top Dog Syndicate
As the party reunites in the morning after apprehending the Dogmen attempting to strong arm Perry the owner of Heated Subject into paying them protection money, Jericho finds a Letter waiting for him downstairs at the front desk of the Fairview Inn.
Approaching the Final Floor Pollux feels that he is about to accomplish a long awaited dream, But the Dangers of the Old Crown ruins intensify, and trouble in town stirs as Tensions Rise among between the human and dwarven populace, and Jericho mentor finally gets a message through.
