Physical Description

Blanche is a human woman with an incredibly athletic build. She appears to be in her early forties, despite being born in Y1083, and her brown hair is greying slightly. She often wears her hair in twin buns. She bears numerous battle scars from her injuries and deaths.

Personal history

Blanche was born in Brightwater in Y1083 to parents Francis and Gloria de la Force, proprietors of the Forza Winery. She left home for the Sisters of Osiris convent during the years when the Lich King of the Black Keep threatened Brightwater, and pledged herself to the convent as a nun.
 
Blanche lived a largely ordinary nun's life until Y1110, when Emperor Amadeus (under the advisement of the Order of Sarastro) ordered the execution of the entire convent on charges of high blasphemy. Blanche was the only nun from the order whose hiding place was not found by the Dreibach Empire's army. When she emerged, a sword fell from the rafters and at her feet. She saw this as a sign from Osiris to become a holy warrior in the name of her fallen sisters and her god.
 
Blanche fled the empire and traveled to the Aquatic Kingdoms to seek experience as a fighter. She met Loge, Tchelio, and Nekrotzar in Urbana al-Sona and began her adventures with them. The group quickly became powerful warriors in their travels across the Kingdoms.
 
One of the most defining moments in Blanche's adventuring career came in the Cave of the Banished Scholars. She discovered the Scholar's Sword—the lost blade of Julien Hawthorne—which chose her as its rightful heir and bearer. Guided by her god and by Julien's spirit, she and her companions destroyed the beholder that ruled the cave and closed the secret eldritch portal in its deepest chamber. On her return to Cape Hildegard, Blanche was celebrated as one of the Heroes of Cape Hildegard and as one of the most powerful warriors of her generation.
 
After this, Blanche and her companions (which now included many of the youngest members of Fiend's Bane, including her future wife Zoë) traveled to the Liberty Coast with the eventual goal of destroying the Order of Sarastro. She and Nekrotzar (a former member of the order, also sworn to defeat them at the behest of his god) led the charge against the Sarastrans at the Eclipsed Wedding and eventually killed Sarastro, Mescalina, and the rest of the apostles on the Day of Ascension.
 
After the defeat of the Sarastrans, Blanche retired to her family winery in Brightwater. She refused all offers of noble titles or invitations to quest for further wealth. She now lives a quiet life with her family as one of the co-proprietors of the winery.

Family Ties

Blanche is an only child. Her mother Gloria de la Force, last commander of the Commonwealth Rangers, died in Y1110. Blanche currently lives with her wife Zoë Fiensbane and her father Francis de la Force at the family winery in Brightwater. She also remains close with her in-laws, Marnie Fiensbane and Ulrich Fiensbane, and considers Nekrotzar Oakenheart her adopted brother.

Hobbies & Pets

Blanche and her wife Zoë own a cat named Pantsuit, a stray tuxedo tomcat they rescued from somewhere in the Borderlands. In her spare time, she tends a vegetable garden and sings with the choir in Brightwater's Osirian church. She sometimes leads the local Liberty Scouts troops on hiking and camping trips or in athletic exercises.
