Calm, Before We Storm

Party returned somberly to the ship.
 
They informed crew and captain as to the hydra and the deaths of triton Avrios and Luce of Teregos.
 
Captain took charge, seemed to try to rouse the crew (and party) but wasn't received very much.
 
They toasted Luce, then Avrios.
 
Some of the crew came to "say a few words".
 
 

Drostosa


 
The party, at the captain's behest, arrived in Drostosa to acquire spells, supplies, and even perhaps mercenaries as they regrouped. They visited (several times) the Bloated Kraken. There they met a Sebastian, a criminal working in Drostosa and in league with a tabaxi named Fathom.

Between "Sebby", Fathom, and the party, a deal was struck to take out local gangsters that have the (if not "a") bounty out on the group.



 

Warehouse Throwdown


 
Unbeknownst to the party, Brom had scoped out the warehouse as a hideout of the Redtails, and had entered through the harborside -- swam up via the water -- to infiltrate. On his way inside, he "took out" much of the guard force (reinforcements perhaps?).
 
On the party's side, Cass had scoped out the inside via magic: twelve occupants, with a notable lizardman magicker of some sort. This mage, identified as a tezkeleh (one of an old culty-type group of animistic lizardfolk magic-worshippers) was mistook, of course, for Brom.
 
Cass (used a portent nat20) to intimidate the remaining Redtail gangman to give up.
