Continuing on through the tunnels, we come across a large hall, where a half-orc appears to be interrogating a human who must be Floon. As Alishei surprises him with a shot through the brain, someone appears from a cell, apparently a friend of Floon's.
 
After dispatching the remaining enemies, we find a poorly-hidden secret door leading to the cellar of a family of halflings [the Peabodys]. They had no idea there was a secret entrance to the sewers in their basement, and promise to get it walled up.
 
Returning to the Yawning Portal, we deliver Floon to Volo and attempt to collect our reward. Volo admits that he doesn't have the coin available at the moment and offers us Trollskull Manor instead. I'm not interested in the property - in fact, I'm considering moving on from this city. I've been here too long.
 
Shopping seems to be next on the agenda, and perhaps inspecting the house Volo has offered us. Alishei acquires some goggles which are meant to allow him to see in the dark, although our newest part member [Olivia] still needs a source of light to see.

Exploring the manor Volo offered us, we find some creatures who've taken up residence. The others clear some giant rats out of the basement, and there's spiders of various sizes on the second floor. [third floor - apparition of a slender female walks through wall into study] The third floor has some nasty-looking creatures in the corner of the first room I look in, so I decide to climb up to the next floor instead. There's not much there; it appears to just be a storage room.
