Eragon and Lord Rohrouk go to the Champion's Rest to find Kofsa, the black mage, to see what new evidence they could find. After being kicked out and reentering using magical subterfuge, the two found information from the Children of the Loscupulus, among others.
In the meanwhile, Cassandra suggested Avrios and I accompany her to seek Elilah, the cleric of the Raven Queen we had met days past in Teregos. In the Queen's temple we found Tua, the cleric acting in Elilah's stead as head priestess.
As we all regrouped, Lord Rohrouk revealed the letter he had copied from the Loscipulans:
The deal is done, within the next few days... The ship The Sow does not need to be contacted further; it is ready... the payment is located [in a nearby warehouse marked with the seal of the Loscipulans].
The Warehouse Heist
Upon reaching the warehouse in question, we were confronted with two guards at the front door. Eragon agreed to Luce's plan, and the two faked a mugging to draw attention from the door (with a generous dose of Eragon's illusions). Inside, the rest of the group found the chest and the contents within:
* 400gp
* A
Ring of the Striking Iron (rose gold): Ring (uncommon, requires attunement) - Grants the wearer the use of the ‘Heat Metal’ spell. Spell is cast at 2nd level. 1/day.
* A
Boomerang of Eventual Return: Simple ranged weapon (uncommon, requires attunement) - +1/1d6+1 bldgn; Once thrown, the boomerang will return to the wearer’s grasp after 1d4 turns.
I took the ring.
Turns out the ring is dwarven and attributed to Morridan, the Forgefather.
We returned to Harren, the diplomat from Teregos, who directed us next to find
