Our party of vengeful explorers currently consists of myself, Amiri, Cherilyn, Ikori, Octavia, and Zira.
We entered the chamber beneath the Great Sycamore to find Tartucio putting something into a portal. He had a small group of gullible kobolds. He interrupted his own blathering to toss a fireball at us and create a [i[mirror image[/i[ to keep me from killing him too quickly. Octavia had to take his images down twice by pelting all of the Tartucios magic missiles. After about 15 seconds of combat and his non-stop blathering, we had whittled down most of his kobold supporters. Tartucio was feeling smug until I put an arrow into his eye followed immediately to one to his leg, just in case he tried to get away. He died too quickly. But at least he did not get away this time.
After we kicked his corpse around a bit, we met the rulers of the mites and kobolds. I gave both relics to the kobolds, deciding that the cruel mites should be removed from the land. The kobolds assisted in us removing the mites, and we formed an alliance with them.
The next day, after we realized that Tartucio's body had disappeared, we went to the Stag Lord's stronghold. After getting in as we pretended to be bandits, we split up into three groups to look around the place. Amiri and I found a captive owlbear. She talked to it and I reinforced its cage more so it could not break out, except I put a sneaky flaw into it so I can let it to kill the unsuspecting bandits. Amiri and I wandered around the main building, and found an old druid captive in the basement. I ran off with his focus, locking him back into his cell.
I rejoined the rest of the group, we found a ring of animal friendship, which I used to befriend the owlbear, Scratch. We then let her out to terrorize the bandits while our group attacked the Stag Lord. He died very quickly after I stabbed him in the balls and then gutted him with my rapier. I claimed his hat and bow for myself.
We took over the fort of the Stag Lord, killing all that dared to fight us. I let Scratch go free.
