06 Taking Out Some Trash

Our party of explorers currently consists of myself, Cherilyn, Ikori, Zira, Octavia, and Regongar.
 
We headed out to clear the Shrike river camp. As we got closer, we came upon a bandit patrol. Icky is a terrible shot, practically dropping her heavy crossbow as she shot a tree.
 
The fort is behind the Shrike river, with a bridge leading to them. I wounded a bandit with an arrow, and he missed me as his ally hit me with an arrow. Ikori finished him off with a spiritual weapon. Icky and Cher then flew into the air, drawing their attention. Regongar ran onto the bridge, triggering a poison cloud trap.
 
I shot their thiefling leader twice, after which she misty stepped in an attempt to escape. She did not far, as she was burnt to a crisp in Ikori's moon beam, after which it seared several other bandits. After we killed most of them, the surviving bandits surrendered. The thiefling surrendered after Ikori revived her, but she, and her surviving allies, were executed by Cher.
 
I only had mixed feelings about the execution of prisoners for a moment. They were honorless trash that preyed on others and not worthy of respect as prisoners. Their life can contribute something to the animals that will eat their bodies.
 
We went back to Oleg's, sold and bought some stuff, and then headed out to remove the bandits by the Skunk river. They put up a much better fight than all of the other bandits so far, especially their leader. Ikori, Cher, and Regongar went in through their door after Ikori bashed it down with her warhammer. Me and Zira shot at the sentries on the wall as we moved forward with Octavia to aid our allies from atop the wall.
 
One managed to escape. A young half-orc that is either the bandit's daughter or mistress. Zira and Ikori tried to hunt her down but lost her. We will probably have to fight her again. She may have gone to join the Stag Lord. Whatever she was to that half-orc scum, he did at least put up a good fight. But not good enough, as I was going to shoot him but did not get the chance as he could not withstand my allies.
 
Now we have the douche gnome to hunt down after which we will rid the land of the Stag Lord's stench.
