05 Exploration and Errands

Our party of explorers cuurrently consists of myself, Ikori, Zira, Octavia, Regongar, and Valerie.
 
We went to where we could fight Kressel and her bandit. A cart was sitting in the road, laden with goods. Obviously a trap to catch the foolishly greedy.
 
Worried that it might be a mimic, Ilori shot it with her crossbow. Her bolt thunked solidly into the cart with a "thunp", but it did not cry out in pain.
 
We noticed two bandits trying to hide in two trees above nearby. More bandits are nearby.
 
Committed to our goal of retrieving Svetlana's ring and ridding the land of filthy bandits, we attacked.
 
The battle ended as I managed to hamstring Kressel with an arrow to the leg. Sh surrendered, and gave us Svetlana's ring and gave us more information on the Stag Lord and remaining bandits. I convinced her to help us against the Stag Lord. He has two more camps, one is on the Shrike river, led by a thiefling warlock, and the other on Skunk river, led by a half-orc thug.
 
We went back to Oleg's for a good night's rest. We bought stuff, sold stuff, and had great food.
 
As we explored the land further, we befriended a boggard, who calls Ikori "icky".
 
We fought two Tatzlewyrms. We only killed one, the other having been put to sleep by Icky Ikori. She can continue to live if she does not cause further trouble.
 
We found a dead unicorn, that had its horn removed. Octavia told us that an evil fey had killed it with a single spell called Finger of Death.
 
We found the den of a manticore and decided to kill it. Ikori yelled very loudly as the rest of us hid, ready for ambush. It roared, and flew at us as we attacked. It died, and we were attacked by a second. Two dead manticores and they will no longer murder travelers.
 
We found some ruins by a swamp. It was inhabited by zombies. Icky turned them with the power of her goddess, and we killed them (again) from range.
