The Sea Beckons, Conclusion

Captain Juan de Cartagena turned out to be possessed by a prodigious anger. He led his crew to ruin, killing a number of the crew himself. We eventually had to put him down, or no one was going to make it home. Out of this I obtained a dagger with a magical property of luck. If I kiss it before testing a skill I am more likely to succeed. It seems to bend luck in my favor. During this voyage I met up with, Soren, Nilus, and Tousine. Soren and Tousine were working as members of the crew. Nilus was hired by Juan to assassinate Magellan. He started to do so, and Soren finished the job. We found some treasure, but not the horde of gold Juan expected.
 
Also during the journey I discover that Nilus had become afflicted. He is having severe nightmares, and has grown claws. After examining him, and careful contemplation I believe he has been afflicted by Corruption. Likely brought on by being healed by me. I will do what I can to make this right. I will travel with Nilus until he is healed.
