At the Bottom, Above the Abyss
Calling a place the Lowers when you are already deep within the earth and there are more tunnels and worlds beneath you is something of a misnomer. Maybe the name was one to describe those that called this place home or was a broad term to explain what was beneath the bustling parts of the city. Either way, what we expected was not what greeted us when we safely made it to the Lowers and the home of the Paladins of Dreadfall.
The minotaur's contact was an odd one, speaking in truths that only a lizardfolk could. He gave us more insight into the Order and the tasks they were currently completing, information that was somewhat chilling to hear. Cultists were here and looking for things, a dragon egg had gone missing. Neither of these things bode well, but it was information we needed nonetheless.
Our discussions with the Matron's first daughter seemed to go better, making only enough concessions to get what we needed and skirting around the other issues with the mere mention of Oz himself. A delegation would visit our post at some point, a month from now, and hopefully, our sponsor would join as well. We had secured some level of trade deal as well, one that was more in our favor with items by demand and less one that would involve great travel.
As we retired to the Silver Thread for the evening, the Red Mage's stories gained attention, finally joining us with a man that I had only heard Reinys speak of. The Grand Duelist of the Human Empire had come to learn more about the disappearances of many items and about Ozul, the dragon that had called the area beyond Mithril Mantle his home. The half-elf would join us on our journey the following day as we returned home.
The prospect of going home is a relief. Monitrex in itself has been an adventure, but one I would not so hastily depart on again.

12:36 am - 30.08.2020While I greatly enjoyed following and helping Senku, it was an even greater endeavor to finally craft something of my own that only I could create. The dwarf and the sailor had requested a belt to turn the water wheel, and so I would make it. It took a few hours to tool the leather, making it supple enough to turn and move how they wanted without wearing and breaking. While such a simple object, it gave me pride that my skills, other than my enchanting, were useful, even in the depths of the Underdark.
06:25 pm - 21.07.2020I don’t know why I sometimes expect quiet days of working on simple tasks. Again the cavern is buzzing with our work, but none more so than Senku. The girl has energy with no bounds, working on multiple projects at once. She effortlessly moves between too many projects to count, brewing potions and creating things out of nothing. All I can do is dutifully follow her and offer assistance when I can.
06:25 pm - 21.07.2020We call them quiet days, but the ringing bustle in our cavern is far from quiet. Adventuring stopped for a few days in favor of crafting, allowing us the time to finish crafting the grand windows that we had created for our storeroom. I had never created a stained glass window, but with Senku’s glassmaking and Lark’s easy hand with a paintbrush, the process went much smoother than I had imagined. It felt like I had returned to Lady Naya’s shop, soldering the delicate jewelry that she sold. It is odd to think that we have been beneath the surface for two weeks, but it seems like an eternity. The light here could never replicate the sun, even with large amounts of magic. I long to feel its warmth again, to feel the soft winds of my home, but we have set out on this journey, and I will remain until Reinys and I see it through to the end.
09:31 pm - 14.07.2020The last few days have been a bit beyond what I was taught, but the child seems to know more about alchemy than anyone I have ever met. With that knowledge, we have begun the cultivation of odd plants and started the process of making necessary items that I have only seen come to Lady Naya’s shop in well-padded baskets. My delicate work with thin metals and gems will come in handy as we begin the process of making the windows throughout. It may take three of us to accomplish our goals, but we have moved far away from the idea of simple buildings that are so often found as outposts. With our crafts, we will make these dark tunnels full of light and beauty, something that is so lacking in the Underdark.
08:06 pm - 08.06.2020Reached Level 3!!
After large amounts of work relating to crafting in Mithril Mantle, Syndra leveled up!
08:06 pm - 08.06.2020Our short friend was easily worried by a simple bowl of incense, but it brought some happiness for me. I was able to finish the ritual and thank the Kobolds that attempted to bring safety to us, even in such a dark place. It brought comfort and peace, finishing such a ritual. It made me realize that I had been neglecting my prayers and the faith that so strongly binds Reinys and I. But there is time to move forward with such. With the correct implements, I can bring a safety through faith to this place.
03:16 pm - 21.05.2020The Underdark is far from what I expected. The darkness of home is nothing compared to the darkness that surrounds us constantly, but light shines brightly in our cavern. Through the work of all of us, we are making a home, a place for wayward travelers lost in the darkness. I never thought I would be using my knowledge for such things as growing odd flora, but it is a change that I have welcomed. The greatest change of this adventure is the change in Reinys. She is far removed from the dark days in the past. She has taken the role of leader with confidence, and it shows once again. There is no one I would rather be on this adventure with than my sister.

Contacts & Relations
Due to her ties to the Ylyndar Clan and the Enchantress, Syndra knows a wide variety of people inside and outside of Yllvalion. Many of her contacts outside of the city are merchants and adventurers that have need of the goods that are produced in the Enchantress' Shop. Inside the city, she knows the majority of the families as she often works with them or sees them nearly every day.
Honorary & Occupational Titles

Family Ties
Family is an odd thing for Syndra as she remembers lives with two distinct families. She was a child when her parents died during the Eldritch War, but she does remember the teachings from them that found her aptitude for magic. After her parents' death, she was adopted by the Ylyndar Clan and gained a second, although very different family. She was not nearly as close with the brothers as she was younger in age than Reinys and was not a paladin. Reinys and Syndra became almost like sisters, spending time together when there was a lull in their training.
After over two centuries as part of the Ylyndar Clan, Syndra considers them her real family, but the ghosts of her parents and the memories she has forgotten haunt her. It has caused problems with her training and has often sent her into spans of depression. Even so, Naya and the rest of the Ylyndars treat her no differently, acting as if she is one of their siblings. Those that do not know the family often mistake her as one of the children as she blends into the family.
