Personal history

Persi was one of the many victims of the Jolly Genocide, being forced out of the The Bling Islands and start anew. His only living relative of the attack was his grandma, the island's chief, who passed of old age in the Reserve not too long ago.

Persi always had a fascination with the stories and prayers him and his people shared, often helping his grandma in writing prayers and relaying stories with other kids. A lot of the knowledge he once knew of his island, its people, and its traditions have been lost. Persi deeply regrets not being able to remember his roots and is determined not to let it happen again, both to him and other cultures who may share the same fate.

Employment

Persi's role of collecting history and information has a few different names, each with their different, yet similar, meanings:

  • The Keeper of Time: Based off of Kiwano, God of Creation's Throne of Time. While Kiwano's throne collects information of humanity up in Reveri for its residents and Kiwano, it is the Keeper of Time's job to collect information about humanity for Kiwano's followers who still reside on the Material Plane. This is to ensure they remain enlightened throughout their lives until they're ready to ascend to Reveri.
  • The Stonemason: Many believe Kiwano's Throne of Time to be made of stone, the intricate carvings of humanity and history itself magically being chiseled into it as time passes. It is believed that the history being recorded is The Stonemason's doing; a mortal soul dedicated to the conservation of humanity and its history in order for it to be relayed to Kiwano and the inhabitants of Reveri via the Throne of Time. The Stonemason works until their mortal form has expended it's natural life, at which point it is Pitaya, God of Judgement's job to reincarnate the Stonemason so that it may continue its work. It is up to the followers of Kiwano to keep track of the Stonemason's soul, making sure the new body is well equiped to continue its task. The cycle of the Stonemason will continue until time itself comes to an end, at which point the Throne of Time will finally be complete. If something were to happen to the Stonemason's soul it would have apocalyptic effects, for information is no longer being relayed to Throne of Time, essentially freezing time and history of the entire world.
  • The Archivist: The simplest of ways to refer to this title. The Archivist is believed to be sent down from Reveri by Kiwano himself in order to record the history of humanity and enlighten Kiwano's followers so that they may have an easier voyage to Reveri.
  • Mental Trauma

    The Jolly Genocide.
