Geography
The land around the river is some of the most fertile in eastern Adynía, and the river itself forms and important trade-route between the coast and mountains, but annual flooding -sometimes in the form of outburst floods- mean that living by the Bórúm is not without its difficulties.
Notable settlements along Bórúm include Gakúnóka -capital of the Góalanic Federation- at its confluence with Garak, Tarsú by the central part of the river, and Hakra at the delta. The territories of two góalanic orcish tribes intersect by the river, namely that of the Bógrúnog to the west and Úlrog to the east, while the Hrykkalog tribe controls both sides of Bórúm south of Gakúnóka.
