Halinkazía

Halinkazian:
Halinkazía (halinkazíurúnir)

Halinkazía is a kingdom in the Darka Mountains in northern Adynía, and is one of world's oldest continuous civilizations, dating back to the early bronze age. It's bordered by Áal and Záal to the west, the Sikíron Empire to the south, Gráhúlysía to the east (specifically lands of the Rúali to the southeast, Red-Gords to the east and Dertúlans to the northeast) and Silver Sea to the north.
Its capital is Fjazak Arslún, located near the eastern shores of Úz Lake at the heart of the kingdom.

History

Ancestors of the dwarven Halinkazíans settled in the mountains some 15.000 years ago, after being driven from the Lakú Mountains to the east and, before that, the Wild Mountains beyond. A few centuries later they had begun making metal tools, weapons and arms, and some halinkazíans migrated south to the Meldon Plain, conquered the inhabitants using this new technology, and founded Zameltonía.
The two cultures were close allies during bronze age, but since the Meldon Plain and Nemirkía were overrun by northern human tribes, the halinkazíans became vary of strangers, and the kingdom has been relatively isolated from the rest of Adynía for much of its history. Only recently has the Sikíron Empire, a major power in central Adynía, managed to allow its merchants limited access to the southeastern city of Ambra.

Structure

Halinkazía is centered around five cities, some of which have historically been ruled by their own dynasties: Kalambra to the north; Zihyl to the south, Ambra to the southeast, Neirtóló to the northeast, and Fjazak Arslún in the center.
The current ruler is Ertalahimaz V.
