Paheiríen
Paheiríen is one of the three regions which the Sjorgús Mountains are traditionally divided into, specifically the central part of the mountains west of Svarkó Pass, but historically included the entire western part as well, before the latter was laid to waste by Dragons half a millennium ago.
The name refers to the Paheiríen-Elves native to the region, whose towns, villages, shrines and Snake Monasteries dot the mountains, the latter which have been visited by pilgrims for millennia in hopes of receiving prophecies and blessings from the gods.

Geography
The main rivers in Paheiríen are Níaþan and Little-Níaþan to the east and Geþrus to the west, the latter is widely considered to mark the current western boundaries of the region. A small watchtower, built upon and cobbled together from the ruins of the village of Trínúal by the river, provides mercenaries and other adventurers a limited shelter where they can observe the dragons and prepare to hunt them.
The largest settlement of the region is the town of Tóaþril near Svarkó Pass, a place for resting for merchants and other travelers on their way between the Sikíron Empire to the north and Kingdom of Marissía to the south.
