Alcina Norovar

Alcina is the daughter of Sarros Norovar, the original owner of the Alchemist's Alembic and a proud (and secret) member of the An Aghaidh. Her mother and father had already split up shortly after her birth, so she has not a lot of contact with her, except for birthdays and rare visits. Stepping in her father's footsteps she grew up not only doing the usual work at the Alembic: cleaning, serving, cooking and even helping with the potions, she also helped Vex Ravaren and Vax Ravaren whenever they needed a place to hide themselves or even others.
After her father was called back to Thornshire to report his study of herbs and poitions of the Everchanging Forest, Alcina took over the leadership of the family business. She is good friends with Gilles Hayhurst, the owner of the "Experimental Remedies" shop in Greenriver Port, a regular.

A Witch and her Cats

Even though calling her three best friends cats might not be the best thing to do, many visitors are joking about it. Alcina met the three Taari, Gwydion, Faye and Kiama couple of years ago after they had left the Everchanging Forest and ventured out into the unknown world, never finding their way back. She was just on the road to Redwind with her cart, picking up some food, bottles, ale and herbs, when she spotted the strange creatues on the path. Their friendship is unparalleled ever since.
Alcina's love to tailor her own clothing came in handy when she started to make the clothing for her "unusually shaped" friends, similar to her own and well suiting the atmosphere of the Alembic. To this day they are helping her not only with the tavern duties, but also with position crafting and collecting of herbs and running errands.
