Redwind
Well known for its collection of alchemists, herbalists, and other plant connoisseurs, who regularly venture into the forest on a monthly basis. New species are discovered, named, and go extinct on a yearly basis, as the ever-shifting ecosystem rapidly adapts to itself.
History
Redwind was constructed shortly after the calamity which created the Everchanging Forest. The town originally got its name from the variety of unnaturally red colored leaves of grass which were everywhere when the town was founded in fall, little did they know that before the Elderin managed to contain the calamity, a bank of red fog surrounded the village for days and tinted everything in its sanguine color.Culture
Most of the buildings are made from the wood of the forest around it, none of them are made from stone. The citizens wear mostly the colors of fall, as their pigments are very affordable and local in this region. They have seasonal festivities to welcome back seasonal herbs and a festivity where a lot of people are trying to find new species in the time of change in the Everchanging Forest. A lot of people might travel here to try to find a new outlook on life because of the colorful and changing environment, same with artists.Points of Interest
A local museum for different species and herbs. A huge local alchemist guild, if not the biggest in all of Aerion. Many potions and mixtures originated here either in the hands of very skilled craftsmen or madman who pretended to be.
