Ciraen
Even though there are three elven ethnicities, Sun, Fen and Azure Elves, all elves consider themselves Ciraen.
With the 4th opening of the portal the first elves arrived in Aerion and the city of Valderin's Gate. After an initial warm welcome the racial differences between humans and elves grew too strong. The War between Ederaa and Cirabaen pushed the elves out of Ederaa and into the lands later known as Cirabaen, where they founded their own Kingdom and later Magocracy.
Elven Ancestral Traits
Your elven heritage manifests in a variety of traits that you share with other kinds of your species. Ability Score Modifier. You can spend 1 additional point on your physical and 2 additional points on your mental ability scores. Age. Elves reach their adulthood in their 40s to 50s and can live up to 400 years. Height. On average elves are between 5ft. 6in. to 6ft. 8in. tall. Your size is medium. Speed. Your base walking speed is 30ft. Languages. You can read and speak Elven. Magical Blood. Without a doubt arcane magic literally flows through your veins. When casting magic your eyes are also glowing, making it hard to conceal.Elven Cultural Traits

Considered one of the first elves that wandered Aerion, you were born into a life in the desert or its oasis, or maybe you are even one of the remaining survivors that came through the portal. Your ties to the core values are a lot stronger than that of the other elven cultures. Prepared for all odds. You start the game with the Prestidigitation and Find and Purify Water cantrips. You also gain one additional level 1 spell of your choice. Spell Recall. 1/day you can attempt you cast a spell you don't know or don't have prepared. Roll a Knowledge Arcana check against the spell DC which is 10 + the spells level. Arcane Scribe Apprentice. Your experience with writing and copying arcane spell scrolls, gives you 5 skill points in Craft: Arcane Scribe.Fen Elves
Growing up in the dangerous swamps of the Fenglade taught you to be careful and watch your step, neglecting your spell studies a little and focusing more on training your body for challenges to come. Ability Score Modifier. Your ability score modifiers change. You can spend 2 additional points on your physical and 1 additional point on your mental ability scores. Light-footed. You trait difficult terrain as normal terrain when it comes to movement. Camouflage. While not being observed and standing still, you can blend into your surroundings, movement is cancelling this effect. You can use this feature for an amount equal your proficiency modifier a day. Poisons and Oil Apprentice. Growing up around beasts you know how to turn gathered parts of some killed animals into something you can put to a good use. You start with 5 points in Craft: Poisons and Oils. Common language. You know how to read and write Common due to your interactions with Rhondam.Azure Elves
Being born in the Azuremist infused your blood and strengthened your bond with the arcane even more. Arcane Recovery. Every long rest you regain an additional amount of mana equal to X. Born to the Mists. You can cast one Tier 1 arcane path ability once without spending pool points. Spell Alteration Apprentice. You start your adventure with 5 points in the Craft: Spell Alteration skill.
