Bit and Bridle Inn

Purpose / Function

The resident inn and tavern for the town of Harvestshield. It also serves a stable for visitors, and some farmers also rent out some stalls if they need. The citizens of the town will often come to the Bit and Bridle for a drink or some food, but it is rare that all the rooms are ever used at the same time.

Architecture

The building is made of solid wood, including the roof, which is also thatched for extra protection against the elements. It has two fireplaces, the central one being large, while the other one shares the wall with the kitchen and cooking area. Both are far removed from the stables area, which is on the other side of the kitchen.   Cande chandeliers hang at various points of the common room, giving it a cheery and comfortable glow, while pelts and trophies hang on the walls.

History

It is run by a Mountain Goliath named Bellidoc Rimfrost, who came to Harvestshield very early on in it's founding. He is a solid citizen that helps out wherever he can.

Tourism

This is the main place visitors will gravitate toward when coming to Harvestshield. Bellidoc is friendly but does not pry too much into people's lives, unless they open up first. True to Harvestshield philosophy, each person is free to live their life as they see fit, and unless they are eager to share it is none of his business. Any traveling bards are very welcome in Harvestshield and Bellidoc will often give them free drinks, a meal, or even a room without cost, if they are good enough.   Cost of lodging and services:
