Banquet of Barbed Roses

The Banquet of Barbed Roses was an event in the Faeywild following a series of strikes and refusals to work organised by the Satyr Hyrsam. The banquet was to serve as a place for negotiation and discussion between Hyrsam and the Seelie Court with a grand meal hosted by Queen Titania of the Four Seasons.
During the feast, shortly after the second entrée, the court was descended upon by agents of the Unseelie Court who had infiltrated it under the guise of serving staff. The subsequent battle was a brutal affair with numerous dead on both sides before the eventual retreat of the Unseelie Court after their Hag leader was slain by Oberon, Consort of the Queen of the Four Seasons. 
Though many died only one Elder Faey was slain, the Lord of the Autumn Court, which some have since alleged was at Hyrsam's own hands. In any case the court acknowledged the bravery of Hyrsam and chose him to be the new Lord of the Autumn Court.
