General Summary

  • decided to go into town and find more information on tracking Werewolves
  • speak to Gudli in his Stonemasons workshop where he is carving a replacement rook
  • Ask him if he knows about the Doomspring Green druids and how to find a Werewolf.
  • Poppy Quickfoot tries to intimidate him, but he points out if he had money and resources the The Shrouded Serpentwould have taken them
  • Decide to head out to see Jonah at Berwick's Farm
  • as a wisened resident of Whispering Woods he should be able to help track Wene Boley
  • Enroute stop at Carnival for Aidan Brightspark to say his good byes
  • he actually stoll a bag of 5 scrolls
  • only Valen Moonshadow noticed
  • pass through Atwoodgraben
  • -meet the Queen's guard, Diggory Brinker
  • Queen's curse has progressed
  • read Queens letter
  • need the freehearts to gather a powerful artifact for her
  • Golden statue with green Aether crystal
  • in Forest to east of the lakes
  • will provide a surge of magic to fight the curse

  • speak to guard about facing werewolves
  • he knows the standard folk tales
  • Finn persuades him to lend them his ceremonial silver dagger
  • head up to Berwick's Farm
  • Jonah Garrit is there and has been drinking
  • is wearing a necklace of goblins teeth
  • while scouting the woods for goblin presense after the freehearts took on goblins, he spotted a campfire to the north of Whispering Woods (could be Wene Boley )
  • discuss werewolves
  • Jonah knows of a herb that grows in magical areas called Moonshade which slows lycanthropy
  • look like black bluebells
  • three forms a Werewolf can take and they depend on if they embrace or fight the curse
  • Human, Wolf, Hybrid
  • Freehearts head into the woods and sneak through the brush to avoid antagonising the goblins
  • encounter Wolves
  • Poppy uses speak to animals to find out they are hunting the Werewolf and they could smell it on the group
  • Poppy then attacks the Wolves and is knocked unconcious briefly
  • Fiinn kills the pack leader with his heavy crossbow and th erest flee
  • consider skinning the wolf for its pelt, but it is getting late.
  • continue and hit a webbed area of forest
  • are extra careful as they sneak through using Poppy's new understanding of nature to almost entirely pass without trace
  • Valen stumbles into a bush, triggering a Giant Spider to drop from the canopy, luckily it did notice him
  • Find Moonshade by the Elven steps
  • decide to head back for the night as it is getting late, but stumble upon Druids by an Aether Crystal Henge
  • could these be The Doomspring Green who Lord Chancellor Jessop thinks may be the source of the curse.
 
Well there are the big hairy Werebears, there are those pesky little Wererats (dont let them get you), you have the magnificent Weretigers and then you have your Werewolves.
